Two 8lb tench within minutes of each other.
Matthew Faulkner had an unexpected moment during his latest tench session that produced this fine brace of fish over the 8lb mark.
The specialist from West Sussex was having his picture taken with one of them when his other rod screamed off. The fish, from a Chichester gravel pit, weighed 8lb 2oz and 8lb 1oz. Both were fooled by imitation corn hookbaits soaked in Fish Dynamix Night Crawler Potion.
Matthew also netted five other tench and two eels.
