Lana Springs Fish Farm is a Cefas registered fish farm specialising in the production of top quality, fast growing, hard fighting beautiful English carp from 4oz up to 30lb plus, we also produce and supply wells catfish from 10lb to 30lb plus, all fish supplied are spawned and grown by ourselves here on site, bio security measures and water quality on site are second to non ensuring clean healthy carp. VS Fisheries Ltd is one of the largest CEFAS registered carp farms in the country and take pride in supplying lakes with quality home grown carp from 2 inches right up to 25lbs plus. Established in 2006 VS Fisheries has quickly become one of the most respected suppliers of carp to fisheries across the UK.
We aim to produce carp with the following characteristics;

· a variety of scale patterns
· good sustainable growth rates
· healthy, robust and disease free
We use various historic bloodlines of carp such as North Harrow Waltonian, Sutton at Hone, Black Mirror, Leney and Dinkesbuehl to produce a diverse selection of fish for you, the customer.
All our fish are spawned by ourselves, grown on site here and come with full EA health certification and production history when delivered to our customers’ fisheries.
Whether it is a handful of fish for a small syndicate or a large number for a new day ticket venue we are happy to give free advice on stocking programmes and what fish may suit your fishery.

**Carp available now**
We have 20 years of experience in the fish industry. After creating our own fishery business we have gradually expanded our services and now offer an extensive fish stocking, removal and surveying service.
Fish Supplier
All our fish are health checked and we apply for all relevant Environment Agency licences.
Fish are transported in oxygenated water in holding tanks on our vehicle and weighing equipment is available on delivery. Individually tailored orders can be discussed and delivery cost is dependent on distance and size of order.
All species of coarse fish are available dependent on the time of year.
Fish Removal
Professional netting, electro fishing and full or sample surveying are available. We have a wide range of equipment including appropriate nets, high voltage electro fishing equipment, boats, holding nets, experienced staff and transporting gear.
Predator and Crayfish removals can be undertaken.
All Environment Agency licenses necessary for fish removal will be organised by ourselves and a copy of this paperwork is available on request.
Any fish removed from the water are kept safely in purpose built holding tanks and are in oxygenated water throughout their journey to their new destination. Surplus fish can be bought by ourselves.
Provision of Aerators
A full range of aerators are available on request.

At Mainstream Fisheries we take pride in being one of the leading companies in the UK's fisheries and aquaculture industry. We have been trading for over 20 years and supply many other people in the trade. We provide a wide range of services such as Fish Farms, Coarse Fish, Stock Fish, Electro Fishing, and Aquatic Plant Supply.
We are the only site the in UK with an EA approved protocol to treat Cat2. Parasites. We also stock and supply a large amount of Coarse Fish.
Mainstream fisheries have provided various services for exhibitions, shows and game fairs. These have included simulated streams planted with indigenous aquatic plants and netted off areas in a lake which has been heavily stocked with fish for angling competitions. Today, coarse fishing is a popular pastime, and ranges from simple angling for pleasure, in which the aim is simply to relax and catch whatever you can, to match fishing, which is a contest to catch the most fish in a specific period. All our fish are kept to a high standard, whether they are reared in the indoor rearing systems or cropped from the out ponds. All coarse fish, once on site, are kept in isolated tanks with spring water flowing through them which keeps them at a constant ten degrees centigrade.
