Horncastle is a pretty market town & antiques centre situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire wolds. It is only 20 miles to the sandy beaches of the east coast and it's attractions and the historic cities of Lincoln and Boston. These and other towns can be reached by a regular bus sercice from the market square. The town is also served by National Express coaches.
Modern Caravans and Lodges sit comfortably amongst mature Willow and Ash trees and the wonderful fishing lakes.
The holiday homes are double glazed, heated, well equipped & carefully cleaned for your arrival and have a great view over the lake. Parking is beside your holiday home.

There is a spring-fed 3 acre lake & 3 ponds offering good quality fishing all year round. Masses of quality coarse fishing is available. The 3 acre lake is home to the big fish, with the ponds having fish to 10 lbs A well stocked mixed fishery containing Carp to 28lb+, tench, Bream, Roach to 3.5lb and Crucians just to list a few.

Float Fish Farm
Here at float fish farm we have 8 fishing lakes available. Our Carp Lakes Home, Sand and Lapwing lake are all available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. To fish on Sand or Lapwing please book via our website. Home Lake has day tickets available.
We have 5 match/pleasure lakes available 7am-7pm- check our website for more details. For day ticket fishing, pick a peg and a fee will be collected from the bank. We welcome any match bookings small or large but you will need to bring your own landing and keep nets. Keep nets are only to be used in matches.
We have a net dip tank on site, please make sure all nets are dipped before fishing with us.
All our lakes stock common carp, mirror, tench, perch, roach, rudd and Koi. All made for a perfect day for fishing.

The Bridge Inn Fishery
The Bridge Inn Fishery offers a wealth of fishing options and activities, from riverside fishing on our stretch of the River Wensum, to finding tranquility on our 5 acre lake, or learning the ropes on our large pond. Our well stocked waters are managed by an experienced team of bailiffs who are happy to share their knowledge and expertise.
We have great opportunities for all anglers, novice to expert to land the perfect catch; the lake is stocked with all types of coarse fish including carp up to 35lbs, pike up to 25lbs, tench up to 15lbs and many more.
Traditionally a 'Fisherman's Retreat', The Bridge Inn catered to parties of people whose main aim is to bunk up for the night, have a fantastic breakfast, and then hit the lakes to catch the biggest fish in there. Hunters Lodge Fishery, Elsham, Brigg, North Lincolnshire is a four lake fishery complex situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
We have 3 specimen carp Lakes, Willows, Kestrel and Kingfisher boasting carp over 30lb, and 1 Silver fish lake stocked with a variety of different species (incl small Carp, Ide, Rudd, Bream, Barbel, Tench, Roach, Chub).
On site is a shop where you can purchase refreshments, including Hot and cold sandwiches, drinks and snacks.

Waterloo Farm Leisure have two lakeside log cabins available to rent the Kingfisher and Barn Owl cabins. These beautiful log cabins have an inviting contemporary décor and a balcony area for you to enjoy alfresco dining while admiring the views of Waterloo Lake and the surrounding countryside.
Our Fishery
Waterloo is comprised of three lakes, each built for a different purpose. Waterloo, Wellington, and the Junior Lake.
Our original Waterloo fishing lake has 37 well spaced pegs and is available for pleasure anglers and club match bookings. This picturesque lake has a variety of species including carp to 25lbs+, mirror, common and true crucian carp, as well as tench, chubb, and barbel.
Our Junior is a smaller 12 peg lake designed especially for juniors and beginners, aged 7 and above, it provides the perfect environment to learn to fish with good guidance . Fishing lessons can be also booked, please ask for details.
Wellington Lake was a purpose built match fishing lake, but has been converted into a private lake for our caravan residents.
With 15 extra large caravan pitches directly adjacent to the water's edge, it is perfect for those who wish to come and stay with us and enjoy a fishing holiday.
The feedback from those fishing on the lakes has been very positive and we have had bags of 100lbs plus being caught.
There is secure parking close to the lake, so it is never too far to go to get to your peg. But if you're enjoying yourself, why not book a weekend visit, with a range of accommodation options if you wish to turn your day into a stay.

Located in the picturesque village of Shrewley in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, our fishery is made up of 9 unique pools and two and a half miles of the Grand Union Canal.
We have been open to the public for over 20 years and stock tens of thousands of fish including many varieties of carp, chub, tench, bream, roach, perch etc. Each pool ranges in size and style and giving you over 300 pegs to choose from. Each peg has been designed to give anglers something to fish to. There are a number of designated disabled pegs and for those that require assistance reaching their pegs a member of staff is always on hand.
Our onsite tackle shop has been expanded and stocks virtually all types of bait and tackle. We also have a café on site for your convenience.
Our two, new log cabins are complete and ready for business!
Each cabin has 3 twin bedrooms and 1 double bedroom, fully fitted kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge, lounge with 42" Freeview TV and leather sofas, bathroom with shower cubicle and additional, separate WC.

Whetstone Gorse Fishing Lakes are located between the village of Countesthorpe and Willoughby Waterleys on the Willoughby Road. The site is known locally as "Phase 2" and consists of 2 lakes, one mixed and one carp. Car Parking is available for 50 cars. Toilets are also available throughout the summer months.

The fishery is made up of 5 lakes, a Cafe and a tackle shop.
The Specimen Lake holds carp to 29lbs, and the four other general lakes have a wide variety of typical coarse fish which are all suited to pleasure/match fishing.
With on-site cafe/toilets, plenty of car parking and disabled facilities.
DRAGON;
At around an acre and a half in size Dragon has two central islands. A popular match water at the fishery with the match record set in 2005 currently standing at 135lbs. Stocked with a good head of carp, lovely specimen perch. There are also plenty of roach and rudd.
Match weight's should improve following the stocking of 1000 carp over the last two years.
BEN;
At just below an acre in size with 20 pegs, Ben's is very popular with both pleasure and match anglers. Stocked predominantly with carp, roach, rudd and perch, Ben's is a good year-round water.
OAK;
Since the introduction of 1,000 8-10inch carp in 2007 which are now averaging 7lb+ has turned into one of our main match lakes.
BROOK;
Brook is the shallowest lake we have here on the complex only averaging 3-4ft. The 1 acre 22-peg lake offers a great variety of fish with a lot of silvers, especially bream.
STATION;
Known to hold carp to just under 30lb. it is now believed to hold around 100/120 carp. It is rare to catch anything under the 15lb mark with probably 1 in 3 fish over the 20lb mark.

All coarse fish, once on site, are kept in isolated tanks with spring water flowing through them which keeps them at a constant ten degrees centigrade.
