Bullard bags silver victory at Sumners
Former professional footballer Jimmy Bullard kept up his impressive run of form since his retirement by taking victory in the latest Sumners Ponds match with 48lb 10oz of silverfish.
The Daiwa Dorking ace has been polishing his angling skills up since he hung up his boots last year and he blew the opposition away at the West Sussex complex, netting skimmers to 2lb on long pole and pellet.
His team mate Mark Goddard came close to topping the pile but fell into second spot with 40lb 2oz.
