Big cat tops the ton!
Imagine catching a 106lb catfish on your very first trip for the species – that’s just what Kieran Dorsey did during a session at an Essex fishery. The Basildon angler said: “I had been struggling for the carp this year so I decided to hedge my bets.
“I put two rods out for the carp on boilies and a lump of unwashed squid for the cats, and at 11pm the squid rod tore off. The fight was insane, and it took me 30 minutes to get the catfish in.”
