How to feed groundbait
One way to attract masses of carp, bream, tench and roach when fishing is to ball it in and feed with many balls of groundbait. This term is commonly known as 'balling in'.
Getting it right is absolutely imperative because once you've thrown that groundbait and feed in, you can't take it out again!
Here - in part three of Gofishing's exclusive video series - Iain Toombs explains why you should ball in at the start of a fishing session and exactly how to do it correctly.
There's tips on throwing the balls of groundbait, accuracy, how tightly packed you should feed, when to feed, how to add your loosefeed and, above all, how to make sure you catch loads more fish after 'balling in' your groundbait.
This video is part three of a multi-series set of videos explaining all there is to know about groundbait.

Massive perch caught by Alan Stagg
Here's a chance to see a short video of Alan Stagg's impressively massive 5lb 4oz perch caught recently from a commercial carp water.
The top specimen hunter fulfilled his dream of catching a monster perch this winter on his very first trip targeting the species when he landed this huge fish topping the scales at 5lb 4oz.
A cunning balanced hookbait combination comprising a real lobworm and a fake redworm fooled the new personal best for the 28-year-old, who finished as a runner-up in last year's Drennan Cup competition.

New Tri-Cast John Allerton float rod
John Allerton won countless fishing matches using stick and waggler floats which he guided with a dexterity that defied belief.
The subtle fish-playing qualities of a fine three-piece match rod are wasted on many modern day commercial match anglers, so the chances of them coughing up for one that carries a £200-plus price tag are remote, to say the least.
But put that same rod into the hands of a discerning journeyman angler, who regularly fishes rivers in the search for chub or roach, and you wil;l see his face light up with an expression borne of knowing that what he is holding is indeed very special.
And that one word 'special' pretty much describes exactly what this new Tri-Cast John Allerton 13ft match waggler rod is all about.
Mark Sawyer took a sample of this new float rod to the banks of the River Gipping in Suffolk to put it through its paces, wading through the river to access a lovely run downstream of a weir.
We caught his antics and verdict on video, which can be played by clicking the image below.
How to catch silverfish at Castle Ashby
Matchman Kevin Folwell has banked an incredible 645 silverfish in his last two matches at Castle Ashby, amounting to a total of 123lb.
His winning approach centres around targeting the roach, rudd and perch which have moved close to the margins of the Northampton venue's Grendon Pond to spawn, shunning the standard tactic adopted by many of casting a feeder at the bream or carp stocks.
By fishing his pole shallow and close in, he has compiled brilliant catches of 68lb 6oz and 55lb, with his biggest fish weighing a mere 10oz.
Typically the Drennan GOT Baits angler manages to net an astonishing 70 fish an hour, especially when there is a ripple on the water.

Will Raison's winter float fishing feeding tips
Watch Will Raison show how to feed accurately when winter float fishing in this short video.
Will Raison details the two best baits to use when fishing a commercial carp water in winter, and how to get the most from them.
He shows the ideal way to feed both maggots and pellets to ensure that the swim is fed accurately and that the angler has the chance to catch both big and small fish.
Taking his advice on board will ensure that you keep bites coming throughout an autumn and winter session, but it still gives you the chance to latch into some quality bream and carp that bully all the other smaller fish out of your swim.
